About the role
We are looking for an innovative and dynamic team member to deliver outstanding hands-on customer service to contribute to an efficient, community-focused experience across all our branch libraries for the Penrith community. In this role you will also be providing vital admin support to the Head of Library Services and the wider library team as well as have the opportunity to assist our Outreach and Programs team with events and programs to help promote our library services.
Essential criteria
- Year 12 Higher School Certificate or equivalent
- High level of interpersonal and customer service skills and experience
- Demonstrated skills in using procurement and finance systems
- Demonstrated skills in using online databases and mobile devices
- Demonstrated skills using library equipment, including scanners, printers and photocopiers
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment
- Driver’s Licence [C class]
Desirable criteria
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous administration experience
Commencing salary: $63,396.00,p.a, plus 11.5% Superannuation
